While the book is still being written, I thought it would be fun to share some of what I am working on! Here's a little snippet!

Of course there is a twisted love story
in the middle of it all. He was 18 and a preachers son. He lived a
sheltered life and didn't know much about the world. Alexis was 15
and as we all know she was far from sheltered. He was her next door
neighbor in the new foster home she was in. She was smitten and had
never met a guy quite like him before. She was intrigued. Over time
they fell more and more for each other. They had dated a year before
even there first kiss. They soon became engaged not long afterwards.
They got too close though and Alexis was kicked out of her foster home
and put in a group home. His parents banned them from speaking. She
cried every night over a broken heart for two months.
She started dating again a few months
later and became pregnant. Of course the father left. She was 17, in
a group home, and didn't know what she was going to do. Alexis knew
that DHR would take her baby being that she was a foster child
herself. She did everything she could over the next months to prove
she was a fit mother. She was placed in a wonderful foster home. She
did get to keep him. A month after he was born...guess who shows back up in her life?
