BLURB
"And God gives beauty for ashes..."
- Isaiah 61:3
When you look at Alexis Hart... you
might think she has it all together. In all reality, she feels like
she has lived a hundred different lives. She lives like a child bride
and must overcome the sexual and physical abuse from her father. The
emotional and physical abuse from her mother. Moving from foster
home, to group home, and back again every few months. The death of
the only person who she felt she could fall back on that truly loved
and cared for her. The judgmental whispers as she tried to go on
about her life as if it was normal. It is a constant struggle to find
a place where she belongs when she has already lost who she is. She
just tries to be who her situation wants her to be to survive because
she does not know what is going to happen tomorrow if she doesn't.
She turns all emotions and pain off just to get through the day like
a survival instinct. What is going on behind closed doors? Everyone
thinks they know. They have there assumptions and opinions. She tries
to keep the secrets behind a smile and a pretty face regardless.
Through others mistakes and a lot of her own she will overcome this
somehow or someway. She is an exceptional person and she has heart
and a spirit that should have been broken and reigned countless
times... but the answer as to why it wasn't...SHE wanted the curses
to be broken.
